These works place the viewer

in a specific time and space .

Circuitboards look like aerial images of human settlements and activity.

Humans use technology to extend life and alter capabilities and for aesthetics.

Sandy was inspired by”old” circuitboards found in her husbands lab

and the aerial photograph of her grandparents farm. How the farm

was changed and continues to change is documented in aerial

photography. By using detritus from the technological revolution,

Sandy documents how human activity has and continues to change.

Residencies in 2023 and 2024 in the Larimer neighbourhood with students from Lincoln Elementary and

Urban Academy for Bakery Square retail space. Supported by Walnut Capital. Final placement in 2025.
